Intermediate Dance is a year-long, proficient level course for students with at least one year of dance training. Students will refine their understanding of the principles of dance, apply these principles to a variety of dance genres, and expand their ability to discuss, analyze, and critique using dance vocabulary. Choreography and performance skills will be developed throughout the course, culminating in dance production and performances for live audiences (required). Students will receive either Fine Arts or PE credit.
Students must audition for this course and are expected to participate as a member of Ignite Dance Team while enrolled in the course.
